"Outstanding service from Geneva Airport to Courchevel. The driver tracked our flight, helped with all our ski equipment and the Mercedes V-Class was spotless. Very professional and punctual. We'll definitely book again next winter."

A single road leads to Val d'Isère all year round. The Iseran, which links it to the Maurienne, closes from November to June: in winter, everything goes through the valley.
1 · Price and journey time from each airport
These are firm fares: they do not move with the traffic, the weather or your arrival time. They apply to the whole vehicle, not per person.
| Airport | Distance | Journey time | Weekday |
|---|---|---|---|
| GenevaGVA | 183 km | 3 h 35 | €480€580 at the weekend |
| ChambéryCMF | 144 km | 2 h 35 | €380€480 at the weekend |
| GrenobleGNB | 210 km | 3 h 25 | €480€580 at the weekend |
| LyonLYS | 222 km | 3 h 30 | €480€580 at the weekend |
Journey times are for a clear road. In heavy snowfall, allow twenty to forty minutes more on the mountain section. That is already built into the price: nothing is added on arrival.
2 · Which airport to choose
Fastest: Chambéry, 2h17 on the road. Cheapest: Chambéry, from €380 for the whole vehicle.
In practice the choice comes down to the flights available. Geneva offers the most destinations and frequencies, Lyon and Grenoble are often cheaper on the ticket, Chambéry is closest to the Tarentaise but really only opens in season, on Saturdays. Take whichever flight suits you: the transfer adapts.
Schedules, terminals and flight tracking on the official sites: Geneva Airport, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry, Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc and Grenoble Alpes Isère.
All the resorts served from each of these airports: Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc, Geneva Airport, Grenoble Alpes-Isère, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry.
3 · The road, and what winter changes
31 km of climb from Bourg-Saint-Maurice on the RD902, through the Daille gorges. This is a high mountain road: in heavy snowfall we drive slowly, and that is normal.
Our vehicles run winter tyres from November to April, with chains permanently on board, and the driver checks the state of the road before every climb.
In snow we drive at 30 km/h if that is what it takes. The extra time is already in the price: nobody has any reason to hurry.
Bon à savoir. With the Iseran pass closed in winter, a journey from the Maurienne or from Italy necessarily goes through the valley. Our price calculation accounts for it automatically.
Winter equipment requirements apply municipality by municipality: the official list is published by the French road safety authority. Live road conditions are available on Savoie Route.
4 · Which vehicle for your group
On this route the van is the same price whichever model you are given, Mercedes V-Class or Vito. The saloon comes to less for a small party, the Sprinter to more: every fare is shown before payment. Choose on the number of passengers and bags.
- 1 to 3 people, little equipment. Eco, hybrid or electric.
- 4 to 8 people with skis. Mercedes V-Class or Vito van, up to eight seats.
- 9 to 19 people. Mercedes Sprinter, at a higher fare, quoted before payment.
5 · From Bourg-Saint-Maurice TGV station
If you arrive by train, Bourg-Saint-Maurice station is the shortest and cheapest starting point: €120 on weekdays, €150 at the weekend for the whole vehicle, whatever the number of passengers up to eight.
The direct TGV from Paris takes about four and a half hours on Saturdays. We track train delays the way we track flights: give us the number and the pickup time adjusts at no extra cost.
6 · What the price includes
- Real-time flight tracking. Two hours late, and the driver is there two hours later, at no extra cost.
- 1 hr 30 of waiting included after landing.
- A meet and greet in arrivals, sign with your name, bags carried to the vehicle.
- Skis, snowboards and luggage with no volume limit within the vehicle's capacity.
- Approved baby seats and boosters, fitted before you arrive.
- Tolls, fuel, winter tyres and chains.
- Drop-off at your accommodation door, not at a car park below the resort.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
7 · Getting around once you are there
Dinner at the other end of the valley, a change of chalet mid-stay, a ride back after a day skiing elsewhere: we also do journeys within the resort and between resorts, charged on real driving time, from €15 pickup.
These journeys book better by phone than through a form. See the door-to-door page, or simply send the address on WhatsApp.
